Last week I said goodbye to an old friend, my Specialized Dolce that got me through my first 7 triathlons. It was a good bike, I will miss it.

I started looking for a triathlon bike when I made the commitment to do a 70.3. While I loved my Dolce, I knew that I wanted something a little more efficient for the new distance.

I looked a lot of different bikes and styles. I actually test drove more bikes than I did cars when I purchased my vehicle last October. It was a big investment and a big decision.

I loved the look of Quintana Roo. I really wanted it to be the one, but something just didn’t fit right. Bummer.

Then I found it.

I’m really excited to introduce my new ride, my shiny new Felt B-16.
