Every Sunday, Downtown Tampa Yoga hosts a class in Curtis Hixon Park from 6-7pm.
This past Sunday Diana, from the Tampa Bay Lady Bloggers, suggested we do a group meet up for the class. I’ve been really enjoying Yoga as a way to stretch out after a long week of training so I was really excited for this event.
We all met ahead of time and brought snacks to enjoy before the class. I made Homemade Vegan Oreos. Mid-way through the recipe I realized oreos may not be the ideal pre-yoga snack. Whoops. I decided to wrap them so everyone could bring them home.
We discussed a variety of topics, running injuries being a popular one, then enjoyed an hour of hot Yoga. If it’s over 90 degrees outside that counts as hot, right?
It was nice to meet so many of the wonderful Tampa Bay Bloggers in real life. What an awesome group of women! If you’re a lady blogger in the Tampa Bay Area be sure to check out the facebook page for more fun meet ups!
