Yet another crazy busy week! This Thursday-Sunday included 2 black tie events, a convention in Orlando for work, a sprint triathlon and a Birthday dinner with the family. By Sunday night, I was beat. Like, can’t get off the couch kind of beat. Going into the office has become the time when I actually feel like I slow down into some type of normalcy.
I do think my body is really liking the shorter twice-a-day workouts included in this plan. It’s nice to mix it up with something other than running and I’ve noticed an improvement in all three sports. I even managed a 5k PR at this weekend’s Tampa Bay Women’s Triathlon.
Despite a jam-packed social schedule, the training week actually went really well. I got all 9 of my planned workouts in. I did however cut Sunday’s ride short. My legs were heavy from Saturday’s triathlon and I knew it was the best decision to take it easy.
