Another week of training in the books!

My knees started to bother me a bit the last few days due to the increase in distance. I decided to go for my ride as planned on Saturday but opted for Yoga and ice instead of a long run on Sunday. I am absolutely sure that was the best decision.
As I mentioned in my last post, I realized this week that the bike makes me more nervous than the swim at this point. I am encouraged by the fact that I was not absolutely wrecked after my 50 mile ride on Saturday. I still feel like I have a long way to go, but I’m getting there.
The highlight of my week – I made it out to the Mad Dogs swim on Wednesday and swam a mile in open water! I was really stoked about that.

Monday:
- AM- 1750 meter swim at YMCA
Tuesday:
- AM- 1-hour on bike trainer
Wednesday:
- AM- 5 mile run
- PM- 1 mile open water swim
Thursday:
- AM- 6 mile run
Friday:
- PM- 1200 meter swim
Saturday:
Sunday:
- AM- Yoga at the Dali
I’m racing the Roy McConnell Olympic Distance Triathlon this Saturday with the Boyfriend. This will be my second ever Olympic distance and last race before Augusta. Definitely looking forward to it!
What app or website do you use to log your workouts? Also, good luck at the oly! Can’t wait to hear about it!
Thanks Jaclyn! I use dailymile.com and the app I use with it is called Electric Miles. It’s a great site.
