Hello, my name is Tori, and I’m a soda-holic.
As many times as I’ve tried I just can’t seem to kick the habit for good. The truth is, I don’t even like soda. I hate the bubbly taste and feeling and nothing that I’ve ever read has proved it to be remotely good for you. It’s just a gross habit.
I think I’ve been in denial about the amount that I was actually ingesting. I even disguise it at work to look like I’m having a cup of coffee instead of shamefully chugging a 9am Diet Dr. Pepper.
Tuesday, after my third cup of the stuff I had a lightbulb moment… my affair with soda has to end.
One of the reasons I started In Love and Peanut Butter was to be able to keep a living journal of my training, life experiences, diet, and bold proclamations that I often fall of the wagon on.
So here it is in print:
